Jacklyn P. Osborne

Jacklyn joined HSBC in June 2013 as the Americas Chief Data Officer and Global Head of Data Governance for Global Banking & Markets (GBM). In October 2015, she took on the additional role as the US Chief Data Officer, responsible for overseeing the design, execution and governance of a cohesive enterprise data strategy, a strategy that reflects Group data policies and frameworks, US Business needs, and US regulatory requirements in the US. In February 2018, she went back to her roots within Investment Banking and assumed the role as GBM Global Chief Data Officer where she is now focused on supporting the banks digital transformation and working to industrialize data governance processes to enable true democratization of data for all employees. 

She has over fifteen years’ experience in data governance, client data management, change delivery, vendor management and information security in the public and government sectors, including eight years at UBS Financial Services where in her last role, she served as the Global Head of Data Change and prior to UBS she spent two years at the National Cyber Security Division of the Department of Homeland Security.

Jacklyn holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master in Engineering Management from George Washington University. She is a member of the American Society of Management Engineers, the National Association of Female Executives, and National Association of Professional Women.

She lives in the suburbs of Connecticut with her husband, her 3 young boys and their beloved spirited pup- Diesel. Weekends are the most cherished times for her and she enjoys them doing everyday things like playing sports, hosting parties, and baking cookies with her boys.
