Jenny Jao leads the corporate development efforts at ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace that uses artificial intelligence to connect millions of job seekers and employers across all industries every month. Her responsibilities include informing the company’s decisions on growth and strategic partnerships. She also sits on the leadership committee of the company’s Women In Leadership program. Prior to joining ZipRecruiter in 2017, Jenny was helping BlackLine transition from private to public. She started her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and was formerly an investor at Oaktree Capital.

Outside of work, Jenny volunteers at Minds Matter Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization focused on helping underprivileged high school students through the college admissions process, and the Santa Monica Animal Shelter. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, skiing and scuba diving. Jenny earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. from the University of Southern California.
