Jessica Posey

Jessica “JP” Posey is a Director at Twitter, where she oversees the company’s global self-serve advertising business. Jessica joined Twitter in 2014 via the acquisition of mobile advertising startup TapCommerce, where she was the first female employee and responsible for delivery of the company’s revenue. At Twitter, Jessica has held a variety of strategy and operations leadership roles, working across all functions of the company and most recently leading strategic initiatives in the office of the CFO.

Jessica’s expertise is in initiating and scaling new endeavors. Under her leadership of company operations, revenue at TapCommerce grew from near zero to a double-digit million dollar annual run rate. After TapCommerce’s acquisition by Twitter, Jessica grew the Campaign Optimization function from a small pilot to a globally distributed, multilayered team helping strategic advertisers achieve their objectives on the platform. Jessica then was asked to lead Twitter’s Technical Operations team, expanding its scope from providing escalated technical support for sellers to also surfacing customer feedback at scale. In 2018, she was tapped to join the Finance organization to pioneer the strategic initiatives function.

Throughout her 8+ years as a “Tweep,” Jessica has been a passionate advocate for the inclusion and advancement of women, leading employee resource group Twitter Women globally from 2018-2021 and currently serving as its executive advisor. She also dedicates her time to mentorship of the next generation of women leaders, serving as a mentor in programs hosted by Twitter, TechWomen, and Everwise, among others.

Jessica holds a B.S. with honors in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University. Outside of work, Jessica is an avid gym goer, serves on the board of nonprofit EEqual, volunteers with the San Francisco SPCA, and lives with her partner in San Francisco.
