
Margaret Poswistilo
Margaret Poswistilo is an expert Management Leadership Development Coach and Trainer and Human Resources Director – servicing clients in hospitality ,healthcare and professional services . Ms. Poswistilo created and built a successful training firm which helped businesses primarily in the service industries increase their revenues by improving their manager’s leadership decision making skills and the companies’ overall quality of service. Some of her clients included Doubletree Hotels, Plaza Athenee, the University and Union Clubs, New York Downtown Hospital and Equinox Health Clubs.
In addition to her Human Resources and Training career track, Ms. Poswistilo has valuable experience on the operations side of business. As the General Manager of Holiday Inn LaGuardia and Assistant General Manager of the Wall Street District Hotel, she was responsible for generating revenues, managing budgets, operating the hotels and leading over 100 employees. Prior to that, she held several Director positions in Human Resources, Training and Sales & Marketing for Intercontinental Hotels Group, Westin and Omni Hotels.
Ms. Poswistilo is currently Vice President of Operations and Human Resources Director at Next Opportunity Group. She co-created and facilitated the innovative Six Parallel Tracks to Success Program™ for the Minority Supplier Development Council of PA-NJ-DE, sponsored by Merck Corporation. She is certified in several training processes focusing on change management and quality control.
In addition, she is the Executive Director, and co-founder of the WVI Dolphin Foundation a 501(c)(3) – whose purpose is to inspire Legacy Families and others of influence to pivot toward “give back” – wherein they can utilize their considerable prestige, wealth, and power to make a disproportionate impact to uplift culture and the human condition. Our mission is to channel the funds raised to worthy early stage charities that are aligned with the Dolphin culture that support Veterans and Sports for Good Initiative.
Margaret has also worked closely with the Vocational Foundation of NYC where she designed, implemented and facilitated Leadership Training and successful work skill programs for young adults attempting to enter the workforce. Many of her program participants went on to successful careers in the banking, hospitality and consumer products fields.
She also serves on the board of NYC SHRM – Society of Human Resources Management, where she is co-chair of the Program Committee.
