Sandra Gault

Sandra Gault, a serial entrepreneur with a love for shoes found her large and expensive collection had one unhappy feature- they were horribly uncomfortable.

The creation of True Gault, a company that would create custom-made, all-day-comfortable designer high heel shoes that truly fit a woman’s feet was her dream. That every woman, no matter what her age, size or foot restriction, could have beautiful shoes that she could wear all day long.

Started in 2010 when Sandra pitched her idea to a women’s business conference in NYC. Many repeat buyers now never want to wear any other heels than True Gault.

True Gault works by capturing a precise picture of a customer’s foot using patented 3D imaging technology, via an iPhone, (an Android app is in the works). The customer then designs her own pair of heels, picking from 20+ styles and over 70 leathers and colors. The shoes are made using European craftsmanship in True Gault’s factor located in Spain and delivered within 4 weeks, backed by the True Gault Fit Guarantee.

TrueGault.com, Sandra’s third venture, bridges together her 20 year background in tech, her proven business acumen, and her love for fashion. The company is backed by Cayuga Venture Fund, Joanne Wilson, Susan Posen, Chairman of House of Z and other influential investors.

Prior to launching True Gault, Gault helped build and eventually sell two companies Altworz and Performanceworks and held executive management roles at Kodak and IBM. Building the technology processes behind her company was possible because of her experience with building strong teams, identifying key technologies, creating partnerships, developing differentiated products, and not being afraid to take risks.

“I love coming to work every day knowing that I am going to create something beautiful and give my customers the joy of walking without having to sacrifice comfort for style.” “Geek in High Heels”
