True Gault works by capturing a precise picture of a customer’s foot using patented 3D imaging technology, via an iPhone, (an Android app is in the works). The customer then designs her own pair of heels, picking from 20+ styles and over 70 leathers and colors. Prior to launching True Gault, Gault helped build and eventually sell two companies Altworz and Performanceworks and held executive management roles at Kodak and IBM. Building the technology processes behind her company was possible because of her experience with building strong teams, identifying key technologies, creating partnerships, developing differentiated products, and not being afraid to take risks.
