
Sravani Borra, Sony Music Publishing, Vice President, Data Warehousing and Analytics
With more than 20 years of technology and management experience, Sravani Borra is Sony Music Publishing’s Vice President, Data Warehousing and Analytics. Ms. Borra is responsible for leading the company’s analytics technology transformation globally.
Since joining in 2020, she has built Sony Music Publishing’s analytics function from the ground up and centralized all copyright, royalty, and other publishing data of Sony’s catalog of songs into a single-source-of-truth data warehouse to enable the company to manage its assets and make better business decisions.
Previously, Ms. Borra was the Senior Project Manager for the Bridgestone Analytics Center of Excellence (COE). where she was responsible for managing all Analytics COE projects and initiatives, including scheduling and budget management. Further, she managed the COE’s professional development programs, which hosted nearly 300 training participants from more than 35 functions across Bridgestone business units. Among her numerous complex projects during her six-year Bridgestone tenure, Ms. Borra helped establish an integrated approach and digital toolset to drive a cohesive digital strategy and platforms across the global enterprise.
Ms. Borra previously served in a variety of IT and PMO roles at Dollar General Corporation and was responsible for projects across the enterprise including projects for which she was nominated for the Chairman’s Circle Award. She was also an adjunct faculty member at Aquinas College teaching database design and management information systems courses.
Ms. Borra holds an executive MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a master’s degree in computer applications, as well as a bachelor’s degree in physics from University of Madras. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute; a certified Scrum Master; a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist; and an Oracle Certified Associate for Oracle 9i. She volunteers as the VP of Operations and Communications for the Nashville Chapter of the Project Management Institute.
