Elyse Spinelli is an Embedded Software Engineer within the Lockheed Martin Space Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) in King of Prussia, PA. In this capacity, she is responsible for contributing to the development of nuclear certifiable test software and mapping assigned sections of that software to system models and requirements. Prior to her current role, Elyse served as a Dev Sec Ops Engineer maintaining cloud computing models and streamlining infrastructure deployment processes. She has been employed with Lockheed Martin Space since 2021.

As an ELDP participant, Elyse has the unique opportunity to employ a greater set of principles, psychology, and technique in her life-long investment in leadership development. Her leadership style embraces collaboration and asking questions instead of pridefulness and individual failure. Elyse’s success as a junior engineer would have been impossible without committing to building greatness through a blend of personal humility and professional will.

Elyse graduated from Villanova University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. She currently attends Stevens Institute of Technology part time to earn a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management with a focus in Logistics and Supply Chain Analysis. Elyse’s favorite activities include Latin dancing, reading, playing tennis, appreciating and creating art, listening to music, and exploring cities through food and local museums. Currently, Elyse lives in Philadelphia with her six year old rescue cat, Roxy.
