
Lorna Martyn is a global technology leader with diverse experience in financial services, and telecommunications, spanning almost 30 years
As Head of Technology and Regional Co-Lead for Fidelity Ireland, Lorna leads over 1000 technologists who develop superior quality innovative technology solutions for the Fidelity business. In her 17-year career to date at Fidelity, she has held several senior leadership roles both in Ireland and the US
Lorna is actively involved in developing the technology ecosystem in Ireland as Chairperson of Technology Ireland. She is also a Board member of the Irish American Partnership who support education and community programs across the Island of Ireland.
As a recognized advocate for inclusion and diversity, and most particularly, greater female representation in technology, Lorna has led the development and delivery of a multi faceted program which is focused on affecting sustainable change for women in STEM within Fidelity, local communities and industry. The program received the inaugural Women in Technology Award from Technology Ireland in 2018. Continuing and strengthening this commitment through Covid-19, Lorna is currently a Gender Diversity Ambassador with Women Mean Business.

Lorna holds a honours B.Sc. degree in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick, a honours masters (MBS in management information systems) from UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, and leadership qualifications from The Simmons School of Management and The Center for Creative Leadership.
