Sitija Sarkar, Tech Fellow and Managing Director, is Head of the Aladdin User Experience Engineering team. Sitija and her team is responsible for delivering centralized tools and frameworks, leading web, desktop and mobile strategy of Aladdin. This includes the Aladdin Design System, Aladdin Client Sites, Genie and Aladdin Experience Framework. Sitija has held a number of roles at BlackRock. Before her current role, she was a development lead in the Web Tools and Technology team, previously a part of the Aladdin Product Group, where she specialized in a variety of solutions and products such as Social Security Tool, a US retirement tool, Model Portfolios, and other retail BlackRock Websites/tools. She joined BlackRock in 2012 as a Front End developer for BlackRock.com website and became the development lead in 2014. Prior to joining BlackRock, Sitija has been part of organizations like Sapinet, Xerox. She earned her Bachelors in Technology (Computer Science) from an esteemed university in India.
