Michelle Luft is Senior Vice President, Senior Director of Operations for FactSet’s Research & Advisory Strategic Business Unit. Michelle is a people-focused and results-driven leader who adds an EQ lens to the traditional operations responsibilities of P&L ownership, revenue and cost forecasting, workforce planning, defining the business’ long-term strategy, and aligning team members across the organization to execute on the SBU’s goals.
Since joining FactSet in 2003, Michelle has held various roles in Client Solutions, Sales, Product Development, and Operations. Prior to joining FactSet, Michelle was an Investment Banking analyst at CIBC World Markets. Michelle was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
Michelle was the inaugural co-chair of FactSet’s Americas Women’s Business Resource Group and was recently named co-Executive Sponsor for the Global Women’s Business Resource Groups at FactSet, which strives to advance a culture of equity and inclusion through professional development, recruiting and retention, and educational programming.
Michelle lives in NYC with her husband, two daughters, and Bernedoodle puppy.
