But one area that’s been stubbornly challenging is multi-family residential buildings, with owners expressing particular concerns about cost and complexity of the existing solutions. Connectivity is a major issue too, particularly when site-wide Internet access isn’t a given.
Quext, which specializes in property management technology, addressed these issues head on when designing its new smart device management platform, Quext IoT. It’s currently in the process of rolling out to 1,000 residential units across four apartment communities.
